Steven Morris will speak on grief and loss on Sunday

Steven Morrison is the author of An Extra Year: Grief and Loss in the New Age (North Charleston, SC: BookSurge Publishing, 2008), and creator of Spiritual Workout. Morrison will share how, in the wake of his partner’s death from cancer at age 36, he was forced to contend with his own loss and grief according to the practice that he had created.

Morrison describes Spiritual Workout as: “A way to live. It’s as simple as it is dynamic, as practical as it is non-religious, as compelling as it is unique, and as thought-provoking as it is uplifting.”

Join the UUFLB to learn about this innovative approach to life and the five specific steps the practice guided Morrison to take, including his discovery that, while always lumped together, grief and loss are two very different things.
